Irfan Pathan

Irfan Pathan is a young promising player of Indian cricket. He started his carrier at the age of 19. He is one of the finest in Indian cricket. He comes in news after performing in an under 19 match against Bangladesh in Pakistan. In this Match he took 9 wicket of Bangladesh. Pathan now become the first person to be given chance in Indian team. He Started his carrier well and become vary popular in Pakistan series.

Irfan Pathan born on 27 oct 1984 in Baroda, Gujarat. Irfan belongs to a middle class Muslim family in Gujraat. His Father is Moulvi in a masjid and earn his leaving by selling Islamic books. He worked hard for his game. His hard work bring him success on highest level. His Elder brother Yousuf Pathan is also a cricket player. He plays for gujraat.

Pathan Started his International Test carrier against Australia at Adelaide Oval on 12 Dec 2003. He had played 25 Test Matches had taken 91 wicket with the best of 12 for 126. He had also made 835 runs with the 27.83 average and 49.97 strike rate.
Irfan Started his One day International carrier against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground on 09 January 2004. He had played 85 ODI Matches had taken 127 wicket with the best of 5 for 27. He had also made 1137 runs with the 24.19 average and 79.40 strike rate.

Irfan Pathan has gone through a ruff patch and now taken in to the Indian team. Irfan is include in the test team for the third match against Pakistan. He made a strong come back by making his maiden hundred in Banglore. He scored a brilliant hundred and help Indian team to reach over 600 runs.
